Semua kasus yang ditemukan melibatkan anak-anak.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;HMPV sudah lama ditemukan di Indonesia, kalau dicek apakah ada, itu ada. Saya sendiri kemarin melihat data di beberapa lab, ternyata beberapa anak ada yang terkena HMPV,&#8221; kata Menkes di Jakarta, Senin (7\/1\/2025).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dia menegaskan virus HMPV berbeda dengan COVID-19. Kata dia, HMPV adalah virus lama yang sifatnya mirip dengan flu. Sistem imunitas manusia sudah mengenal virus ini sejak lama dan mampu meresponsnya dengan baik.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Menkes Budi juga menegaskan bahwa HMPV bukanlah virus yang mematikan. Virus ini memiliki karakteristik mirip dengan flu biasa, dengan gejala seperti batuk, demam, pilek, dan sesak napas. Sebagian besar orang yang terinfeksi akan pulih dengan sendirinya tanpa memerlukan perawatan khusus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Penularan virus HMPV yaitu melalui percikan air liur atau droplet dari individu yang terinfeksi. Meskipun umumnya tidak berbahaya, kelompok rentan seperti anak-anak, orang lanjut usia, dan individu dengan kondisi kesehatan tertentu tetap perlu waspada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Menkes mengimbau masyarakat untuk menjaga pola hidup sehat, seperti cukup istirahat, mencuci tangan secara rutin, memakai masker saat merasa tidak enak badan, dan segera berkonsultasi dengan tenaga medis jika muncul gejala yang mencurigakan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yang terpenting adalah tetap tenang dan waspada.
